It was the time when Angela Via started associate herself with the music album. But the fame of her voice invited nearly 25000 people at American Airlines Arena in Miami. She was ready to face the live audience. I was nervous but I could not see any traces of fear in Angela’s face. She was calm and firm. She was ready to perform a concert, even though she didn’t have any previous experience. She had selected only one song for her maiden concert that is a Ballad to exhibit her talent.
Her music career started in this way. Initially her neighbourhood loved to hear her melodious voice. Angela was born and brought up in Raymondville of Texas. She was a beautiful, sharp minded and determined young woman. She wanted to fulfil her dreams and achieve her goal. She happened to grow amongst Mexican American and loved to hear the language they spoke, which is the mixture of Spanish and English. In the mean time she wanted to develop her interest in music. She was attracted towards the songs of both spanish and English made her to pick up few tunes of her own. She listened to the cassette and tried to reproduce it. Everyday Angela practiced the tunes for number of hours. It was continued till she explored gospel music. She was motivated in singing by Tonex, Cissy Houstan, Whitney, Cece Winans and Bebe in her school choirs and church. That motivation only brought her today upto this level.
The recording of the music album had started with few songs. The songs are written by Nick Chavez and Alisha Jestie Brooks. We found her voice is a unique, melodious and can fulfil the taste of both urban and rural folks. Our expectations came true.
In her first stage performance, she had started her favorite ballad very slowly initially, which makes the crowd to mesmerize. Everybody was excited to see the new face on the stage. The entire place was silent and enjoying every tune of hers thoroughly. When slowly Angela Via raised her tone to high pitch, that echoed the whole building. People were very happy to hear the wonderful performance of Angela and each one of them enquired about her. This was the experience in the first live concert of Angela.
